Similar to the Young Elite book review Illusive takes place in a world were the MK virus swept through the world. Then a vaccine was created, it started selling really fast. The thing is that no one knows that an unknown side affect gifted a small percentage of people "superhero" like powers. These people now have a choice to make, work for the government or spend your life in jail. Main protagonist Ciere Giba chose a third option, a life of crime. She has suffered plenty of close calls, but this job isnt like any she has ever done before. Her task, steal the formula that created the vaccine, and gave them their powers. Teamed up with other criminals she must embark on a job of life and death.

With one of the biggest caches of starstuff under London and the only key is the Sword of Mercy. Molly was set to help Thomas get the sword first, but she suddenly disappeared. It is up to her daughter Wendy to find Peter and get the sword before anyone else does.

This book is about a 16 year-old boy who had cancer. They cut his head off and 5 years later surgically attached it to another body, the other body was Jeremy Pratt. He used to be Travis Coates. He wakes up he thinks everything is fine until he realizes that it took them 5 years to reanimate him. His best friends don't come to welcome him back, not even his girlfriend who he is positive is his soulmate. Until he finds out that she is engaged to another man. He thinks that they are supposed to be together, but he is still 16 and his friends and ex-girlfriend are 21. He must go back to high school, despite his opinions. This book was a page turner and heart warming book, I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who likes somewhat of a realistic-fiction with a little romance.

I really enjoyed this book because of the character's development as he discovers more and more of himself and his choices decide what life he lives. Winger is a great book and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good realistic fiction book with it's many twists and turns. This book was a page turner and when I started reading, I couldn't stop.

This book is for the science fiction lovers. It has everything from Harry Potter to Doctor Who to Sherlock Holmes. This book was amazing! It tells of a world that corresponds with our own, a world we can't see or comprehend, except one man and that man is Jackaby. Told from his new assistant who just wanted a job, but is now thrown deep into trouble. When a serial killer is loose in a new American town. They tried to solve the case, but accidentally the killer has set them as his next target.
SteelheartOne of my all time favorite books, Steelheart brings you into every page! I loved how the main character changed throughout this book. At first he was fueled with revenge and hate, but he slowly let go of these negative feelings to do the right thing in the end. The main character believes he knows what he wants most in life, but within meeting the Reckoners his entire life is thrown upside down. This was an exciting novel and a must read, page turner that anyone who enjoys an adventure would love.
